With the Rallye Monte Carlo kicking off the World Rally Championship season this Sunday, it seemed like an appropriate time to look back into the history of the WRC. From the pure insanity of Groups B and C to the tight control of more modern cars, WRC has consistently been one of the most entertaining forms of motorsport in the world. Here's a look back at the WRC from their own perspective.
Audi surprised this year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, debuting the H-Tron Quattro, a hydrogen fuel cell-powered small SUV loaded with new technology. The company delighted in 2013 with the Sport Quattro Concept that Car magazine was actually able to drive and loved. The Audi Quattro has been a history of surprise and delight, and has been documented many times by many, many sources, so I won’t bore you with a restatement of the facts.
